I am yet another happy fan of the Braillenote. I have to be careful because I'm starting to take its features for granted! I like to edit a document, then go from the word processor to the calculator; make the calculation and return to the word processor to continue editing.
It's been the best information organizer I've ever had. I have three e-text books stored in it; as well as class notes. If you have been a Eureka user you will have few problems in transferring your computer skills to the BrailleNote.

Hi. I have had my BrailleNote for 18 months now and use it daily (a few times at that) for emails with family overseas, and found it great to be able to give others a Braille copy of documents after this little unit has been connected to an embosser. It was great to Braille out service sheets for church and now we have our own service book and keep up with the rest of the congregation. Having had a laptop with the KeyNote gold speech etc, I find the BrailleNote excellent. It is little things such as the help key, no matter where you are in the BrailleNote, you can get immediate help. I highly recommend the BrailleNote, even though it is expensive. But a thing is not expensive if it’s used lots and meets your needs as well as mine does.

I could write a book, on what I like about the BrailleNote. How did I live with out it? It goes to work with me, on vacation, to places where I know I am going to have to wait for a while, & even to bed with me. Not a day in the past year has gone by that I didn't use it for something; reading books, adding appointments to my planner, tracking addresses and phone numbers, taking notes, even just checking the time or the date. Well, it is time to pack up the BN now and take it to work.
