Pulse Data - One Of New Zealand's Fastest Growing Companies

Deloitte/Unlimited Fast 50 2001 logo Pulse Data today announced that has been included in the Deloitte/Unlimited Fast 50 index, a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing companies in New Zealand.

Entry on to the Fast 50 is based on revenue growth over the past three audited years. If 2000/2001 financials had been included Pulse Data's three year growth would have been over 70%.

Pulse Data's CEO Russell Smith credits export incentives and catching the attention of the world's richest man - Microsoft's Bill Gates with the company's 43 percent revenue growth over the past three years. He said the company can continue its rapid growth because the low-vision end of the market is so under-penetrated. "Even if we take never take any business off our competitors there is huge growth potential over the next 10 years because so many more people are living longer and outliving their eyeballs. And more and more are using computers."

"With its ranking on the prestigious Deloitte/Unlimited Fast 50 index, Pulse Data's leaders have proven that they have the vision and the fortitude to excel in today's highly competitive business environment," said Nick Main, CEO, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. "We congratulate them on becoming one of the 50 fastest growing companies in New Zealand."
