Kevin Hughes Returns to Pulse Data HumanWare as Western Regional Sales Manager
January 12, 2005 – Pulse Data HumanWare, leader in innovative technology for people who are blind or visually impaired has announced the return of Kevin Hughes as Western Regional Sales Manager.
Kevin began his career in the blindness/vision impaired industry in the spring of 2001 as a low vision representative for Pulse Data International, Inc. After successfully integrating low vision strategies into his territory, Kevin quickly earned the opportunity to additionally represent Pulse Data HumanWare’s blindness product line in an expanded territory. As his territory grew, Kevin’s reputation for excellent service also grew. Since then, Pulse Data HumanWare added a number of new products to their already impressive range of products: the world’s first and only low vision auto-reader, myReader, the Color PocketViewer portable video magnifier, the world’s smallest Braille PDA, the BrailleNote PK, and the world’s smallest Braille terminal, Brailliant.
With such a dynamic range of new products and his on-going desire to ensure the best for his customers, Kevin is in an excellent position to make a positive contribution to our industry. “I share Pulse Data’s passion for providing the kind of innovative products that are designed to help blind and low vision individuals to reach their true potential whether in the education, vocational or home environment,” states Kevin. “Our innovative products allow the blind or visually impaired consumer the opportunity to have access to information in a manner never before realized until a few years ago and now, with myReader, we will change the way people with low vision read in the future.”
Jim Halliday, President Emeritus at PDH notes, “We are delighted that Kevin has accepted this new role. He has great energy and knowledge and is very dedicated to customer success.” Kevin says, “My true motivation is in sharing the vision of Pulse Data HumanWare to further revolutionize the industry and be at the forefront of information access for people who blind or visually impaired,” and he adds, “all while working with a great team at PDH!”.
